Two more Android 15-based Nothing phones receive an upgrade to Nothing OS 3.0.

Nothing is now making the software update available for two additional smartphones, Nothing Phone (1) and CMF Phone 1, after the update of the Phone (2), Phone (2a), and Phone (2a) Plus to Nothing OS 3.0 based on Android 15.

Both devices' software rollouts have already begun, and more people should be able to access them in the days ahead. Go to Settings / System / Software updates to see if there is an update available.

Apart from the standard enhancements and new features that Android 15 offers, nothing is changing on its own. The majority of them are aesthetic adjustments, but there are also some AI-related enhancements and a few system-wide adjustments.

Shared Widgets

  • For quick access, pin the pop-up view to the edge of the screen.
  • To get the pop-up display of incoming alerts, swipe down. enables you to read information fast without switching between apps. Go to Settings > Special Features > Pop-up view to enable it.

Superior design

  • Quick Settings have been redesigned, and editing is now more efficient. enables you to easily customize your shortcuts to suit your needs.
  • Redesigned library of widgets. Swipe left to view third-party widgets or select your preferred Nothing Widgets.
  • New UI graphics and improved settings. Bluetooth and Network & Internet settings now show the active connection.
  • A new Dot animation for charging and unlocking fingerprints.

Additional enhancements

  • Let AI figure out how you use it and rank the applications you use the most. intelligently prolongs their activity for a more seamless and effective experience.
  • The auto-archive feature is now supported. automatically increases storage capacity without erasing your device's data or apps.
  • You may now record a single app window instead of the full screen thanks to new partial screen sharing.
  • Version 3.0 of the setup wizard has been updated for a more seamless launch.
  • Predictive back animations are now available for applications that have chosen to use them.

Currently, shared widgets can only be used between devices that are nothing. Furthermore, Nothing declared that only Photo Widgets (square) are compatible with sharing, while the firm plans to swiftly expand support to include additional widgets.

Remember that your phone may temporarily overheat and use more power while the update is happening since the system will optimize in the background. This is typical, and after the upgrade is finished, the temperature ought to return to normal.

Nothing's Android 15 roadmap rollout is complete with the release of these two upgrades currently imminent.
